Privacy Policy

1. The controller of personal data is the University of Tartu (hereinafter: university); registration code 74001073, address Ülikooli 18, 50090, Tartu, e-mail info@ut.ee.
2. The University processes personal data collected via web form for the purpose of registering laptop rentals and, if necessary, providing you with information or responding to your inquiries.
3. The University stores the data submitted in the form until the purpose has been fulfilled:
   • If the user fills in the web form but the laptop is not issued, the user's data will be deleted from the arvutid.cs.ut.ee database after 30 days;
   • If the right of use ends, the user's data will be deleted from the arvutid.cs.ut.ee database after 180 days.
4. The University will not transfer the personal data provided in the form to third parties, except:
   • in the case of legal obligation;
   • If the user does not comply with the university's claim, the university will transfer the claim and the data on which the claim is based to a debt collection company. Upon transfer of the claim, the supporting documents forwarded to the debt collection company will be retained in the university's document management system until the retention period expires.
